Cloning Essays

I don’t agree with cloning humans, it will just take away from humanity one of its most important characteristics: personality. Human beings are unique in many different ways: physically, mentally, and morally. There may be studies that talk about the benefits that cloning may have for human health, but almost none of them talks about how creating exact doubles of ourselves would affect our moral values and sense of ethics. There may be people who don’t care about killing others, but there are others who won’t risk humanity with cloning.

Cloning, for scientists, is just a way to perfect the human race by finding and attacking its defects correctly; it would be a solution for people to many different health problems. Governments could start cloning a lot of people just to have new soldiers for their unstoppable wars, but that would be just even worse than if clones are killed for health. Also people would just start using clones as just another technology: taking advantage of them but don’t really even caring about them. I think that if cloning is really necessary to help humanity fight against all the diseases that attack it, like shown in the movie “The Island”, then cloning should be done with only a specific organ and not with the complete body. Cloning people is just offensive to the majority of human beings, but cloning and the studying of our bodies is something we’ve been doing since we’ve known ourselves.

Cloning is a very big deal for scientists, but if one day they succeed it would probably take our society to complete chaos. People would discriminate clones for the fact that they’re not original human beings. The worries about the increase in world mortality would cease because clones would just be created to kill themselves instead of the rest of humans. Cloning complete organisms is just very dangerous, if the increase in disease studies really need something different to practice than real patients, then it just would be easier to clone only the damaged part of any human being.

I think that it could be both helpful and not helpful in some ways like if we could use the body parts for transplants and curing disease it would be good. Just because some people "feel" cloning is not a good thing to do, these people generally being ignorant and irrational, should not stop the progress of human ability. So many people are dying of cancer and aids and many other illnesses and they don’t want to do something to help them just because they think God would not approve it.

But then again I also think it would also be like murdering because you are making a human clone then killing it for its body parts. They would have feelings too, so how would you feel if someone had you as an identical twin to your brother or sister and they used you for parts. I don’t think that would feel good, you would feel worthless even though you are helping: you would feel like no one really actually cared about you.

Imagine if you were little and you were playing outside you fell and both your mom and dad came running out to see if you were ok, at least that’s what you think there coming out to do instead they ask if you hurt any of you body part not even caring really about you but only the parts in your body. At the end I think cloning is an important step on the evolution of humans, and it is necessary if we as humans want to survive to the lots of dangerous illnesses like cancer and aids.

Cloning is the creation of an organism that is an exact genetic copy of another. This means that every single bit of DNA is the same between the two, in “Brave New World” they show us this process, they clone humans to send it to war to use them as they wish, in my opinion, I don’t approve cloning, because it is to rob someone’s identity. Second, the use of clones as war machines is wrong, they feel, and think like we do is just enough to treat them like us, and third the clone would also suffer the same illness that we suffer.

Cloning is robbing someone’s identity like, printing many copies of your ID Card for many people, cloning is to copy the information of someone and creating a new human equal to the first, here the phrase “all persons are different” will not work because of this. When a scientist tries to clone someone he is creating a human with the genes of another, but as well as the original human the clone will share the same characteristics, not only physical characteristics, but in all the aspects, the clone needs to eat, to sleep and also he feels like us. Like humans clones will suffer the same illnesses that we suffer, they will be let may have no defense to viruses that attack people in the world, to the point of death.

In conclusion, using a clone as a war machine is the same as using a human because a clone is a copy of a human that has the same characteristics of a human.

Science has evolved faster the last centuries, and now we can make awesome things. One example of the progress is cloning, like the sheep Dolly. I think cloning is a great idea. The cloned people can be used for a lot of different actions and purposes. All the advantage can be from entertainment or medical research.

These new humans could be used to so many dangerous or risky experiments. Like experiment with experimental medicines or DNA modifications. The scientific improvement in every area would be faster. The organs that some people need can be cloned individual or from a complete human being cloned. Some dangerous activities can be assigned to the cloned humans. For example, cleaning very high buildings or exploring dangerous environments like volcanoes.

In conclusion, if we develop very well the cloning race and legalize it, some great stuff could happen to the entire human race. Dangerous activities, risky experiments, and a lot of medical advances can be a few of the benefits from cloning men. Some ground rules would need to be applied to prevent all future criminal acts with this technology.
